My Korean wife, Cho In-sook (representative of Mukuge), whom I met by fate. Deeply grateful for that encounter and our present happiness, I named the company after the national flower of her homeland, the “mukuge,” to engrave my respect and gratitude for generations to come.

There remains lingering resentment between the nations of Korea and Japan,
and I feel a sense of sadness at this reality.
Within the region as well, though only a minority, it seems regrettably that some people still hold prejudices.
Despite our differing positions, I believe that if both parties cherish mutual respect and understanding,
we can overcome cultural barriers and find satisfaction in how these encounters enrich our lives.

We are pleased to announce the opening of the main house
across from Waso Mukuge as a new lodging space, “Byeol Che Mukuge.”
At Byul Che Mukuge, we aim to provide a warm and inviting space distinct from Wazō Mukuge,
offering more people the opportunity to experience the charm of the San'in region.

The flower language of the “mugge” is “belief.” True to its name,
it serves as a symbol connecting Japanese and Korean cultures,
embodying respect and gratitude for both nations.
Against this backdrop, we will plan and operate new systems that go beyond conventional approaches,
further enhancing Japan's pride in its hospitality.
